BIOGRAPHY
-Le Chevallier’s great-grandfather, Joseph Blitz, born in Milan, Italy, was an exhibiting painter during the turn of the Twentieth Century.
-Georges Le Chevallier’s grandfather’s cousin, Jacques Le Chevallier, was one of France’s most important stained glass window artists. Among his greatest achievements was to be selected to create between 1957 and 1967 thirty stained glass windows at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
-Currently Guy Le Chevallier (Jacques Le Chevallier’s son) and his wife Anne run the family stained glass atelier at Fontenay-aux-Roses, in France.
-Georges Le Chevallier’s cousin, Cecile Page Le Chevallier, is an exhibiting artist, who graduated from the “Academie de Beaux Arts”. She is married to Alain Page, one of France’s leading fiction writers.
Georges Patrick Le Chevallier, the youngest son of Michel Le Chevallier (Born in Clichy [Paris] France) and Maria Marrero (born in Morovis, Puerto Rico) is born on February 8, in Garges-les-Gonesse, Sarcelle, a suburb of Paris in France.
Le Chevallier’s family moves to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Studies under artists Robert Morris, Juan Sanchez, Susan Crile and George Hofmann. His painting studio is located at 41st Street and 9th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen area of Manhattan.

Le Chevallier and his fiancee Carrie Shafer renovate an old factory in Long Island City, Queens, and turn it into a painting studio and home.

Works as an Artist Educator at El Museo del Barrio in Upper Manhattan. Le Chevallier also travels to several public schools throughout New York City to give art classes to Spanish speaking students, for whom English was a second language. He lectures at several schools about celebrated Latino artists endorsing the importance of the arts in the Latino Community.
