PUBLIC ART AND INSTALLATIONS
-The most critical factor about public art is the everyday viewer. For the first time in my life I had to take into consideration the public’s reaction to my work while I was designing it. I wasn’t working all alone inside my studio anymore.

- When we first approached Georges about taking on this commission, we really didn’t know what to expect.  His past public art pieces and resume were impressive, and his Raleigh Wolf Ramble work was beautiful.  But we were talking about at least a ton or two of sheet metal requiring lots of though, preparation, and attention to detail.  Georges more than exceeded our expectations (as well as those of the donor of the car).  He quickly mastered automobile painting technology and created the magnificent 'Artsplosure Art Car,' which we will proudly display and drive at future Artsplosure and First Night Raleigh festivals.

- This surreal situation, of a self-assured monumental architecture juxtaposed with the universal symbol of doubt, will raise the viewer’s desire for an answer. The question mark is the only symbol that makes you think, and everyone brings his or her own interpretation to it. In search for such an answer, the viewer will come up with a response that can range from the humorous to the intellectual.
