PUBLIC ART AND INSTALLATIONS
-The enormous size and textures within the wall, the changing light, and the hot weather during summer, made working on the murals very physically demanding; But when finished, there was a feeling of the heroic.

- Woodrow Wilson High School is an ethnically diverse, large urban high school. After a racial disturbance on campus, our students painted a large multicultural mural on the wall of our media center. Georges Le Chevallier, who has painted a number of street murals in downtown Long Beach, was commissioned by our art department chair to supervise, design, and guide the students in the painting of our new mural… The mural is an outstanding feature of our campus and a tribute to Georges Le Chevallier’s vision and talent.
